Gone are the days when a website was strictly viewed on a PC. Today technology and its contents are being taken on the go. For this reason, it is integral to optimize your website for mobile. There are countless tricks but today I am going to focus in on three.

Design for Touch
Today’s users interact with technology through swiping and clicking. Use designs that can accommodate fingers and not the curser of a mouse. This means large call to actions and images and avoid content users will need to zoom in on.

Utilize White Space
It’s natural to want to cram as much information as you possibly can onto your company website. However, by leaving a little white space you create a more user-friendly experience. When you ditch the clutter, users are less likely to click the wrong button and to stay engaged with your content.

Create a Streamlined Layout
Keep in mind that users will not be engaging with their mobile device the way they would with their PC. Users will likely be scrolling through your content rather than skipping through pages. For this reason, you should focus on a streamlined layout. One way to do this is to supply users with the content they are most likely to be seeking out and leaving the rest on your website.
